Tamiya welcomes a new addition to the 1/14 Tractor Truck series - this time the Scania 770 S 6x4 from the Swedish manufacturer Scania. The Scania 770 S 6x4 is the spearhead in Scania's high-quality S series, which underwent a complete model change in 2016. This towing vehicle has a chassis with double rear axle in 6x4 configuration, i.e. with double rear axle drive. The truck is equipped with a 16.4 liter V8 diesel turbo engine with an output of 770 hp, the most powerful representative in the industry as of 2020.

About the model

• This is a 1/14 scale R/C model kit. Length: 532mm, width: 193mm, height: 307mm.
• The model realistically represents the Scania 770 S 6x4.
• The high roof shape is realistically represented by a roof rack with a row of lights and other extensions. LEDs (sold separately) can also be attached.
• Just like the real vehicle, the 6x4 double rear axle chassis features an engine and transmission arrangement arranged at the front.
• The ladder frame features aluminum side channels with resin cross members and is equipped with a coupler to allow coupling to semi-trailers.
• The extremely realistic suspension consists of metal leaf springs and friction dampers.
• Interior parts such as dashboard and seats with a modern design are included.
• The mounted 3-speed gearbox enables gear changes via a separately available 4-channel transmitter.
