The Schumacher Eclipse is the reigning IFMAR World and EFRA European Champion in 1:12 scale.

The new Eclipse 5 features an extensive list of refinements that make it even faster and better handling.

The Eclipse 5 is the ultimate professional LMP12 chassis kit for racing. The choice of champions!

  • NEW - Aluminum chassis design with a much shorter overall length. This allows for reduced chassis scrub and significant weight reduction beyond the front and rear axles. These advantages allow the car to enter corners more effortlessly and turn more freely in the corner.
  • NEW - Improved left and right rear hex wheel clamps to prevent wheel wobble issues. Now perfectly smooth wheels with our unique one-nut rear wheels/solid axle!
  • NEW - The servo mount has been improved so that the Sanwa micro servos such as PGS-HR and SRG-HR can be mounted directly. Direct and easy alignment to the center of the vehicle. In doing so, the chassis' flexural properties were significantly improved for performance and strength by removing the previously used large, off-center cross slots. All other brands of servo can still be used with the included ultra-light floating servo mount.
  • NEW - Lightweight and flexible 3D printed rubber buffer that perfectly protects the body. Compared to the previous foam bumper, it is also very durable and long lasting.
  • NEW - Black aluminum steering tie rods are now included. Stealth and lighter.
  • NEW - Updated upper deck design that further reduces polar moment of inertia. They are now securely attached at the front within the wheelbase.
  • NEW - The front lower beam has been improved and mounted in line with the front axle, further reducing weight in the front area and reducing the length of the chassis. The new carrier is installed with super-simple, quick-sliding, secret spacers. 0.5mm U7920 and 0.75mm U7921.
  • NEW - Independent and lightweight front bumper mount makes front end mounting much easier. The front bumper can now be removed with just 2 screws.
  • NEW - Molded, lighter front hub bracket with significantly improved suspension and damping properties. The unsprung mass has also been reduced.
  • NEW - Easy LiPo assembly thanks to new, lighter O-ring attachment.
  • NEW - Interchangeable front LiPo position stops with 4 evenly spaced settings included.
  • NEW - Optional 1.0° camber band available. 1.5° camber is included in the kit and ensures maximum steering and lap time in most conditions.
  • NEW - Pod offset has been refined to achieve the perfect pod balance with a wider range of modern engines.
  • NEW - Lightweight carbon parts for a lower center of gravity and lower overall vehicle weight.
  • NEW - Variable undercarriage bevels providing improved ground clearance, gentler scrub and better clearance from curbs or other curve markers.

- Big bore side and center dampers provide long-lasting cushioning. They also offer excellent oil retention (requires less maintenance) and a compact and central design. Changes to the damper geometry have improved the damping properties.
