TAMIYA has a knack for reviving vintage cars. This kit perfectly reproduces a real classic in the form of the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, as we know it from Tamiya. The Karmann Ghia was a stylish coupe based on the same platform as the legendary Beetle. The body design was created by the Italian company Ghia. The production of the vehicle was carried out by the Karmann company in Osnabrück. The polycarbonate body of this perfect replica is stylishly placed on the Tamiya M-06 chassis with rear-wheel drive.

The M-06 chassis has a rear motor and a longitudinally mounted battery pack, with the RC electronics installed on both sides for optimal balance and a low center of gravity. The independent suspension on double wishbones ensures excellent and easily tunable chassis. Tamiya 60D tires on the front and rear axles offer excellent grip. The excellent steering geometry ensures extremely direct steering. A large urethane bumper is already included in the delivery.
