TAMIYA presents the Opel Kadett GT/E on the MB-01 chassis
The GT/E was introduced in 1975 and was the high-end version of the Kadett from Opel. The GT/E was a two-door coupe with a 1.9 liter engine and a revised suspension. Various teams used this vehicle in competitions in 1976 and secured second place in the constructors' championship.

The 58729 TAMIYA model in 1:10 scale is based on the MB-01 M chassis. With this chassis, both the drive type (front or rear motor) and the motor position (front, rear, low/high) can be freely selected. The drive is provided by a powerful 540 electric motor and the wheels have independent suspension.
