Tamiya welcomes back the 1/10 RC 1990 Mercedes-Benz C 11 kit, which was released as item 58088 in 1990 and item 58351 (finished body) in 2004. Although it's been about 18 years since the last release, this model is still popular with RC fans because of its rich racing history.

About the Mercedes-Benz C11
The Mercedes-Benz C11 is a Group C prototype racing car that was used in the 1990 World Sports Prototype Championship. The C11 was built by Sauber as a successor to the Sauber C9 and used the same Mercedes-Benz M119 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8. It was the first time that Mercedes-Benz put its name on the car rather than simply using Sauber.

• R/C model kit in 1/10 scale
• Length: 490mm
• Width: 206mm
• Height: 110mm
• The body and the large rear wing are made of 1 mm thick polycarbonate.
• The composite chassis consists of an ABS plastic tub with front and rear spaceframes and FRP panels.
• The 2WD direct drive chassis transfers engine power directly to the spur gear transmission.
• With the 3-point suspension, the rear gearbox is mounted on an oil-damped CVA-T link axle. The ground clearance is adjustable (front: 2 levels, rear: 3 levels), depending on the road surface.
• Equipped with a ball differential and grippy sponge tires.
