Tamiya is proud to introduce the 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK AMG Racing version as a 1/10 R/C model kit based on our popular TT-02 chassis. The streamlined 2-door coupe Mercedes-Benz CLK had a version with a 4-liter V8 engine with 470 horsepower, which served as the basis for a racing car. It had widened front and rear fenders to allow the use of fat tires, and its side skirt spoilers and rear wings provided improved aerodynamics. In the German Touring Car Masters 2002, the racing car secured the team classification.

This kit recreates the homologation version, which represents the powerful shape of the racing car with enlarged fenders and rear wing, without sponsor logos.

The model is equipped with the TT-02 shaft-driven 4WD chassis, which is characterized by high adaptability and stability.
